GREG WATERS AND THE BROAD STREET BOOGIE

October 31st marks the second solo album release from ex Cool Waters frontman, Greg Waters in as many years. "Disappear", the follow-up to "Play On." runs through a variety of emotions as well as musical influences. “I found myself lyrically tackling a lot of serious and personal issues on this project,” admits Waters. “BUT…, there’s some real fun stuff in there as well. I don’t like to take things TOO seriously; especially music.” Musically, these twelve songs are loaded with a pop, yet "road trip" type, rootsy groovage saturated with sing-along melodies ala Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, and ALO.

Waters and his band, The Broad Street Boogie share a common passion for good music and good times. "These guys (Sly Joe, Mike Cool, Mike Underwood, and brother Dan Waters) are incredible! They are all great musicians and bring a lot of different styles and influences to the table... and they all enjoy what they do. That makes it real easy," comments Waters. Some of these influences include artists like The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, G Love, Stevie Wonder, Led Zeppelin, Ben Harper, and Phish. The live show features originals Greg has written over the past 10 years, as well as some great cover songs. The band also features a handful of originals from Sly Joe.
